Neglected infectious disease papers published

We have started the year with two papers in the area of global health drug discovery. Firstly, a paper from Dennis with collaborators from UC Merced and Ohio State University on amino acyl t-RNA sythetase inhibitors in Leishmania. Secondly, a mode of action story featuring salinipostin A, a compounds for our lab from 2015. This was led by Euna Yoo and the Bogyo lab, and features former student Chris Schulze, and postdoc Kenji Kurita. Congratulations to all. DOI: 10.1371/journal.pntd.0007983

Do you believe in open data?

Think that all raw NMR data should be required for publication of natural product structures? We do, and so do 71 other scientists in the field. Check out Joe's latest paper in Natural Product Reports where we contributed a section to a large review on the value and need for raw NMR data to support transparent and accurate research in this area.
